Diplomatic Relations Cast and Crew Bios

Marco Chiriboga (Desmond Westwood) is pleased to be a part of the wonderful cast of Diplomatic Relations. He was recently seen as "Kindoki the Elder" in The Little People’s Theater original play Village Voices coauthored by his daughter Sarah Chiriboga, and as "Juror #5" in Lantern Theater’s production of 12 Angry Men. He shot his first film last year in NYC, landing the role of Red Had in Insurgent Pictures' production of Prayer to a Vengeful God, to be released soon. Marco has studied with Rick Imberman at The American Art Theater, Charles Goforth, and the wonderful teachers at The Labyrinth Theater Master Class.

Amanda Dieli (Jennifer) is excited to be making her Strawberry One-Act Festival debut! Since moving to New York two years ago, Amanda has been seen performing Off-Broadway with The Abingdon Theatre Company, Zombie Joe’s Underground, Sticks and Stones Productions, and Limecat Family Theatre. In New York, she’s studied and worked with the LAByrinth Theater Company and the Upright Citizens Brigade. A Chicago native, Amanda studied Commedia dell’Arte in Florence, Italy, and holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Southern California (Fight On!). Love and thanks to M,D, and L.

Jen Jamula (Director) is an actress and yogi, who loves to sing and write. Drawing inspiration from LAByrinth Theater Company and her boundary-stretching time with them in their Intensive Ensemble this June, Jen is trying her hand at directing for the first time with Diplomatic Relations. She has known playwright Greg Edwards, however, since Yale, and has been acting with producing company Lively Productions since its inception! Acting credits include: Paper Dolls (Claire), NY Fringe Best Ensemble Award; A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Helena) with Théâtre Friches Urbain, Paris; Only We Who Guard The Mystery Shall Be Unhappy (Laura Bush) at Yale; and most recently The Motherf**ker With The Hat (Victoria), a reading of Stephen Adly Guirgis’ new play with Maggie Flanigan directing. Jane Marx (Veena) is a writer, performer and New York City tour guide. She has done stand-up at the Broadway and Gotham Comedy Clubs. She has appeared on TV in the David Letterman Show, Cash Cab Episode 82, New York One, I've Got a Secret and The Merry Mailman. She's been profiled in the New York Daily News, Time Out magazine and United Airlines Hemisphere magazine. Her tours were listed in New York magazine. She was interviewed for the 81st Annual Academy Awards and in a commercial for the TriBeCa Film Festival and the National Inquirer. Her video to assist Flo in a Progressive commercial made the top ten. Her website is www.nytourgoddess.com.

Chris Stetson (Tony) is excited to return to the stage, after a lengthy hiatus, under the astute direction of friend and colleague, Jen Jamula. Some productions Chris has had the pleasure of being a part of include playing Vince in Sam Shepard's Pulitzer winning Buried Child, Lysander in A Mid-Summer Night's Dream, and various under five roles on ABC's One Life to Live. Chris previously worked with Lively Productions in their show Everaftering & Other Tales. Most recently, Chris portrayed Clarke on the Webby Award nominated web series The Temp Life.
